Lemon Garden Residence

Nessuno alla reception e cancello di ingresso dalla strada pubblica chiuso e senza campanello o altre istruzioni per il check-in. Ho dovuto telefonare e attendere un responsabile per entrare. Mi è stato chiesto il pagamento della stanza che però era già pagata dalla prenotazione on line. Insomma non è neppure un b§b ma solo una stanza privata senza servizi in loco.

The location was great. It is walking distance to lots of historic attractions. We were provided with a map by Manos one of the friendly owners which helped a lot. There are lots of bars and restaurants near by. The port and bus stop are a 10 euro trip away. We could have walked if we did not have luggage. The garden at the property is lovely. It was nice to have that being in a city. There were a few mosquitos at night but not too many. As some other reviews have said the area looks a little run down but don’t let that worry you as it does through many parts of Crete but the place is safe and the people were happy to help. The room was large and beautifully designed. The beds were too firm for us but that is just our preference. Access to a kitchen was nice.

The pillows were thin but again that is more of a personal preference.

Beautiful apartment in a tucked away courtyard surrounded by gorgeous plants.

The Lemon Garden is - nomen est omen - a quiet refugium in the middle of Heraklion, approximately—10 walking minutes from the center. You can hardly hear any roads, just the dogs and rosters in the morning. The equipment is nice and clean, and the bathroom is spacious and well-equipped. The bed is big and comfortable.

You have to leave your car on a slightly dodgy and fully parked road - but nothing happened to our car.

The Garden and the Rooms & facilities didn’t disappoint. Felt very tranquil

Réservé en dernière minute car notre ancien hôtel était horrible, notre hôte a été d’une efficacité exemplaire. Sympathique, serviable, au petit soin. La chambre était propre, décoré avec goût et bien placé. Je recommande les yeux fermés!!
