Being self contained there was ample privacy. The layout of the accommodation was spacious and well equipped. The location is such that access to the cliff top walk is reached in less than 5 minutes, with magnificent views to both the East and West, access to the beach within 15 minutes and restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

A clean, sparkly, well appointed studio. We found the whole place to be excellent. In the past, we have stayed in hotels, however, I thought this apartment was much nicer than boutique hotels as you had your own private kitchen, with a full size fridge, and you have private outdoor space to sit in, as well as private, off street parking. There was a useful 'welcome pack', so you have breakfast on your first morning. Barton on Sea also has Lidl, which makes life super easy! Barton on Sea is a peaceful, quiet , upmarket resort with a couple of lovely restaurants, such as The Cliff House. It is an ideal resort for couples. Great coastal walks. A really relaxing apartment and resort. The fact the apartment is about 30 seconds walk to the seafront / cliff top is beautiful. Furthermore, the apartment is ground floor, so it would also make it good for those who struggle with stairs. Barton on Sea can be accessed by train as there is a station a short taxi ride away at New Milton. We almost travelled by train, but we decided to use the car so we could also drive around and explore the New Forest more. There are regular buses from the sea front that take you to places like Bournemouth and Christchurch, if you did want to travel to Barton by train and then go out on day trips using buses. I therefore think the resort is very good as one can use a car or public transport, so it works for all kinds of people. A lovely spacious studio accommodation with great amenities. So many personal touches which made you feel at home. Welcome hamper and drinks a thoughtful touch. Definitely recommend and will return.
