Yeti Cabin

Excellent location to access the park away from the masses! Host knowledgable and very helpful. Beautiful cabin, wonderful views :)

We had a great stay at the Yeti cabin. Great location on the river and close to the entrance to the park. Our kids loved exploring the river behind the cabin.

peace, tranquility and generosity of Dorde the host

Host was very welcoming and brought us milk that we needed as the utility seemed to be far. Had morning tea looking at the river from near as we sat on the wooden table/chair combo in the space within the said property. Very relaxing indeed.

The windows in the rooms were small so you could look out while standing near them, through the small window. A dishwasher would have been handy.

Dorde was really kind and helpful. He let us use his washing machine to do our laundry for free and provided us with a clothes airer too. Gave us good directions on how to walk to the Plitvice Lakes park entrance. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make our breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and cosy. Through our own fault we lost the room key in the park. Dorde had also misplaced his spare key and we had to wait out in the cold for him to break the lock. He didn't want to charge us for the new lock but we insisted in paying him for it.

We had to wait a long time in the cold for him to beak the lock - but then it was partly our fault for losing the key in the first place.

So quaint! We were greeted by the lovely host and shown the spot. Right on the river with yummy views, the cabin was a cozy rainy getaway. Perfect spot for launching off to the park with plenty of information available to help you plan ahead. Was the perfect little stay. The host also recommended Plitvice Lodge for dinner which was a good shout, very entertaining, filling meal by the fireside.

Not what i was expecting at all. I thought i booked a cabin. This was a very small attic apartment in a multi unit home

Location was beautiful right outside the door. Sat in a hammock and listened to the river and waterfalls. Also super easy to walk into the national park.

Nothing really. It was off season so no restaurants within walking distance open but that also meant there were no crowds and it was more peaceful.
