Apartamentos Kilimanjaro Pepe Marin

Es acogedor , familiar, todo al alcance. Destacar la amabilidad de Pepe, el anfitrión. Estuvo atento y fue muy cordial tanto con nosotros como con nuestros niños. Volveremos seguro. Posdata: TV no funcionaba por el temporal pero al día siguiente estaba arreglada.

No puedo poner un ápice. Todo estuvo muy bien.

Very easy to collect the keys. They were in a lockbox by the door to the apartment and we were sent the code in advance. The view from the apartment was beautiful, you could see right across the town and to the mountains. Communication with the host was good, they messaged several times before our arrival and gave us most of the information we needed. On the day we had a number of delays on the way into the resort and the host stayed in touch with us throughout the day. The apartment is pretty basic but was fine for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine, a kettle and even a blender.

I would have liked information on parking. There's no parking included and we were given no guidance as to where we could park which led to us receiving a parking fine for parking in a place just up the road that we didn't realise we weren't allowed to park in. Although communication with the host was good throughout the significant delays we experienced in getting to the apartment, we ended up arriving pretty late and the following day I received a series of quite angry messages from the host about the fact that I hadn't let him know that we'd arrived. I presumed because he lives on site and has CCTV that he would have seen us arrive and at no point did he request that we let him know when we arrive. At one point he came to our apartment to help us with something and repeated over and over how unhappy he was that I hadn't told him we'd arrived which was quite strange and quite unpleasant. It left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth. The location of the apartment is fine but not brilliant. There is a bus that runs to and from the town centre with a stop just down the road but the queue for the bus at the end of a day of skiing is massive. On one day we ended up waiting for two buses to come and go before we could fit on one, meaning we waiting nearly an hour. There is a chairlift from a bit further down the road but the queue for that is also massive. You do have the option of skiing in and skiing out from next to the chairlift but at the end of a long day it feels like a big old hike up the hill to the apartment with all your gear.
