Nice appartment, everything You need is there. Washing machine in cellar can be used. Very friendly host. Host didn´t speak much english, but we still managed to clear everything.

It was a bit har to find the right place, but everything worked out with a phonecall.

It was clean and had everything we needed

Good access to mowed lawn on Elbe riverbank. On streetcorner, small restaurant serving very good trout meals. Nice downtown.

The location is right next to a bus stop, which is perfect for getting into the National Park for hiking.

The bedroom was quite cold the first night and there was only one extra blanket in the closet. When I booked the property, the price for 4 nights was 220€ to be paid in cash on arrival. When we got there we had to pay 16€ for a "Gästekarte" for the public transport despite the fact that we were not informed of this cost ahead of time. We both have the Deutschland-Ticket and therefore didn't need to pay 16€ for this local transportation ticket, but he insisted that if we didn't pay it, then he would have to. In order to just end the awkward interaction with the host, we did pay, although if it is some necessary expense, then it needs to be included in the booking ahead of time. The garbage can in the kitchen was very small, with garbage bags that were too small to even fit well in the tiny can. On arrival, he asked if we were afraid of dogs because he apparently has a big dog that barks at strangers. Luckily, we aren't afraid of dogs and have no problem with that, but if we were, that would not be something I would want to find out when I arrive at the property for my stay. We didn't end up seeing the dog at all, but I do feel that the host needs to include these details in the property listing rather than springing them on the guests on arrival. The listing also says there's a pool, which is quite strange because it's a pool clearly for their children, and I can't imagine going into their backyard and using it. I think they should remove that from the listing.
