A very cozy and clean place, thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. The host was friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Great location – close to shops, cafés, sea and public transport.

In the heart of Ostia, a charming town, we embarked on a much-anticipated vacation, full of promise. However, it quickly became evident that the advantageous location we had hoped for was not a unique selling point for this apartment. In fact, it was a common feature shared by the majority of hotels and apartments in Ostia. The convenient proximity to the enchanting embankment and two nearby train stations was, in essence, the standard rather than an exceptional advantage. Our initial enthusiasm waned as we entered the apartment. The photos that had captivated us were a decade old, failing to represent the actual state of the property. Neglected and aged, the apartment's furnishings begged for a breath of fresh air. What's worse, the apartment wasn't clean, with signs of neglect and a general air of uncleanliness. The bed, meant for comfort, only brought discomfort with its ancient, musty odor. Despite these setbacks, the property's most glaring flaw was its location, besieged by ceaseless noise. Unfortunately, the real nightmare began with the owners. A trivial matter, grains of beach sand on an old bathroom mat, led to a fierce deposit dispute. The owner adamantly refused to return 100 Euros for what was essentially a 20 Euro mat replacement. Furthermore, we were hit with a €50 'late' check-in fee for arriving just 10 minutes beyond the agreed time of 8:10 p.m., courtesy of a flight delay. The overall experience left a bitter taste, and I felt compelled to advise against considering this apartment for your stay. Adding to the disheartenment, the kitchen utensils were time-worn relics from the 1950s."

The apartment is spacious. There is a private patio. There is a grocery store near by. The host is very helpful.

There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. We stayed in August and the temperature inside the apartment was constantly 29-30 degrees. There are no mosquito nets either so opening the windows isn't an option, as there were mosquitos outside. The shower cabin is very narrow. It will be difficult for a larger person to shower. Beds and mattresses are old. All of the above ruined our stay. We were actually amazed by all the 'exceptional' reviews for this property. It is definitely overrated.

Spacious apartments, good location near the train station, buses, the sea. There is a place for a car in a closed parking lot.

Well equipped spacious apartment for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The host was really welcoming and helpful. The station was 2 minutes walk from the apartment with a great service into central Rome and there was an excellent supermarket and cafe both within 50m of the apartment. The apartment also has a lovely private terrace and parking.

Garden outside is pretty nice

Location was great, 2 minutes to Metro station and five minutes from the beach and right next to a supermarket. The apartment was great, very spacious and comfortable. The host was very helpful.
