Apartments Jota

We had a wonderful stay at Jota’s. It is truly a little paradise. The pool is big and has a breathtaking view of the ocean and the mountains. The apartments are overgrown with beautiful pink flowers. You can walk to a lovely beach in about 15 minutes, as well as shops and many restaurants to choose from. Jota and her family are really friendly and welcoming people. It was our second time here and we will definitely come back!

Fantastic view and very quiet. The hosts are amazing! They washed our clothes for free which helped us a lot. Jota and her family work hard to make everybody feel comfortable and just relax. The pool area is also great, especially when you are too tired/lazy to go to the beach. The main street is just 10 min away.

The a/c costs 9 euro per day which is quite pricey. Even though it was windy most nights, it won't help just to open the windows.

Jota and her daughter were very helpful and guided us to organize a dinner for the birthday of one of our friends. Besides, the view of our room was very nice.

It was a bit hard to find the hotel after going through narrow streets, but it was worth the afford.

Lovely location in walking distance of the beach, but also had enough parking space for rental car. The owner and her family are lovely and do their best to keep you happy and comfortable. The apartment had a great view and was very comfortable.

Some nicer lighting in the apartment would make it more cozy to be in after dinner. The bathroom and kitchen are fine, but basic. You won't need the kitchen much, because of the great restaurants in the neighborhood, but a toaster for breakfast would be a welcome addition.

The accomodation was great, the shaded balcony as well, we even enjoyed the little further location from the city. I cannot forget the pool, that is really something, especially during the sunset.

Jota and her husband have created this place from scratch 30 years ago into a little paradise with love and attention for every detail, and it shows. The apartments and lush gardens around it are well taken care of and immaculate . Being located at the edge of the village and on an elevation my apartment had both great sea view and mountain view. the hosts are very welcoming and make you feel at home.

the view of the olive tree field behind the hotel was amazing. the room was quite clean.

our reservation was not in their list at first, we waited for the host to make a room ready. there was no soap in the toilet. this should have been a basic sanitary requirement for a room. the air-conditioning costs 7 euros as it was stated by our host. considering that our stay was one of the hottest nights of the summer, it was quite challenging without air-condition. another friend of us booked a room in a facility by the sea (Tiki rooms) for the same price and he had complimentary free air-conditioning due to the weather conditions, plus the soap in the toilet and kitchen, complimentary coffee and a slice of watermellon in the fridge! so seeing that for the same price was disappointing for us. Jota apartments is further away from the sea. only one of the windows had mosquito net apart from the bathroom window.
