The Artists' Tower

What a sensational property! The property is the top floor of the stone building surrounding the tower over the Gelato shop. Wooden Beam Ceilings, thick stone walls, and atristry throughout. Our contact met us and guided us to the private secure garage. Car entry and exit thereafter was easy. He then showed us the property and told us a little of the town and the community. Super easy check in! The apartment is truly unique and expansive, with a large living room looking out onto Piazza Cisterna on one side, and beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside on the other. The rooms are very large for Italian norms. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is large and adequately equipped for even a large crew. Three large bathrooms with showers. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the showers. The apartment was comfortable with the windows open despite mid 80 degree temperatures. We didn't use the A/C. Plenty of light from windows throughout. The location is incredible-right in the middle of town, with dozens of restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Multiple museums and cathedrals within a 5 minute walk. Easy walk to the wall turrets and parks in the city. There are 62 steps from multiple narrow steep stairways. You have to embrace the climb to appreciate this place. The garage is out of town, and it is about 350 meters to the apartment. The Artist's Tower is a truly unique gem in San Gimignano!

The apartment is beautiful, and the views are incredible. Location is prime within san Gimignano. Very spacious, and clean!

Only downside is parking, but any property in the tuscany villages would have a similar problem. Free parking is a 15min walk, paying parking is 5mins walk.

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πολύ όμορφο ατμοσφαιρικό σε εκπληκτικό σημείο στην πόλη. Σαν μικρή παρατήρηση θα έλεγα ότι θα μπορούσε να έχει κάποια προϊόντα στο μπάνιο όπως ένα αφρόλουτρο ή/και σαμπουάν και ένα καλωσόρισμα όπως λίγο νερό ή ένα κρασί!

The views are amazing. The apartment is spacious and interesting.

Bathrooms are old and cramped. Space gets hot.

Literally in the middle of San Gim, you can look out of the window and wait until,the ice-cream queue goes down before going down to buy one!

Giacomo and Patrizio met us at the apartment, assisted us with bags and escorted us to the parking garage. They were wonderful hosts and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, providing several recommendations!

The only downside to the apartment are the number of stairs. You must climb three flights of stairs, so be prepared. It would not impact us from staying here again though.

It was roomy, comfortable and warm

There was nothing to dislike

The apartment is stunningly beautiful with fabulous views of Tuscany.

There were 264 steps from the ground floor to the apartment. If someone had a lot of luggage, it would have been difficult.

Location and character of property

No welcome pack, limited toiletries and no water / milk left on arrival.
