Mattihus

Great place with great value for money. Nice historic Swiss country house with a great view, quiet neighbourhood and a very friendly hostess. The kitchen facilities are better that I could imagine, there is everything you could wish for. Definitely would stay again, if I'm in that area.

There was nothing to not like. Just that the grill in the garden was not working, but still everything else was awesome!

Mattihus is spacious and spotlessly clean, the view is spectacular, you can enjoy the traditional swiss house, with the farm environment and the mountain view. Here you can experience truly swiss vibes.

Mattihus is very comfortable with everything needed to self cater. Tamara is a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The views are great and the area is very quiet of an evening. Convenient for the Bakery and the hotel Adler.

We have stayed here before so we know the location. If the lift links to Gstaad are not open, then access into Gstaad is via Zeisimmen, which isn't that convenient if you don't have a car. With a car, access to all areas is easy, and parking is free at both the Lenk ski areas.

Location is great and standard of facilities in the apartment was really excellent

It was a large fully equipped place.

Sankt Stephan has limited options if you want to eat out. Which didn't bother us, but might be a problem for some. The ski links weren't open which again wasn't a problem for us as we had a car.
