APARMENT SAMANA HOUSE OLLANTAYTAMBO

Location of apartment was set back away from roadway and main tourist areas. This made for very quiet nights to sleep. Apartment had necessary amenities for our 5-night stay, beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for three of us. Our host, Wachito, assisted with referral for transport from Cusco to Ollantaytambo with a couple of stops along the way, met us at the plaza carrying our overstuffed backpacks, providing insight on the apartment and restaurant recommendations. He reached out evening prior to our departure to let us know he would be there to assist with getting to our transport but we already had earlier departure plans in the morning. He is definitely there for you if needed.

The only thing for me as a light sleeper was the outside light that flooded the upstairs bedrooms at night. It could not be blocked and made for difficulty falling asleep. I made an eye mask out of my bandana and was able to block some of the light. Once I fell asleep, the comfortable bed helped with the rest.
