I had a great stay at Stonehouse! The space was lovely and very spacious, had all the necessary appliances. Great location from the Center of Ponta, very close to bus stops which take about 20 mins to get there, walking about 35-40. About a 10 mins walk from a grocery store for quick groceries. Pedro was absolutely wonderful, helped with anything I needed, always made sure everything was okay. The only thing to note is in the off season the place can get cold, so bundle up because there isn’t a heater. And also because of its location, it can get a little noisy with the cars and bikes driving by. But otherwise a great stay on the island!

Property had all amenities and our stay was great. Also Mr Pedro as a host is great guy who welcomed us and explained all.

Clean, spacious and well-equipped 1 bed apartment just outside main Ponta Delgada in village of Faja De Cima. The owner, Pedro was extremely kind, helpful and friendly, and responded to any queries straight away. Buses go from Faja De Cima go straight past Botânico Gardens and to main bus hub near Ponta Delgada's Tourist Information Centre. From there you can catch buses to Sete Cicades and Furnas. Thank you Pedro for being a great host!

The house style was in keeping with traditional houses. Private parking off the main road.

Spacious lounge and tv room, balcony, kitchen, fridge, kitchen utensils, oven, fast wifi, very helpful owner - Pedro. He runs a pub next door "Cafe Micaelense" so if you need beer, the right place is only few seconds away :) because shops are a bit far away

hard to find anything what I didn't like, I liked it there, I do not know anything negative in the apartment, but shops are a bit away, I like to walk so I walked few times to Ponta Delgada centre, not a problem for me, unsure about public transport there, there are bus stops on that street, and I saw a public bus on the street, but no timetable on bus stops posts

My stay at the Stone House was overal a good experience. Unfortunataley, the house was freezing cold as I went there in January. Tip is to bring slippers and warm clothes if you travel during low season. Otherwise, everything else was really good. Big, open spaces with a well equppied kitchen that had everything you needed. The terrace was okey, not very nice cleaned (but could had to do with the season). Both bedroom and bathroom was spacious and nice furnished. I liked the area, Faja de Cima, which is a 30 min walk from the center of Ponta Delgada. There is a bus stop near the school, just 2 min from the house and the bus takes approx. 10-15 min to the city center (depends on which bus and which stop) and the cost is 1 EUR. Very smooth and easy if you don't have access to a car. The host, Pedro, is helpful, kind and always available.
