Photos are 100% accurate and Joao is a lovely guy to deal with and communicates very fast. Amenities were good and it was nice to have the little patio area as well as pool area which is spotlessly clean. Sadly the weather was too cool to use it but in summer it would be amazing to have at the end of the day.

Not a dislike but a heads up that it's a pretty busy street and the locals drive fast. Parking is generally available as others have said but on arrival we had to circle the block as there is a school right opposite and late in the afternoon there is a lot of competition for parking. No problems overnight tho and you can find a spot not far away. Practice your parallel parking ahead of arrival!

An amazing apartment for relaxing after a sightseeing trip. The owner was very kind and helpful. Fantastic work!

Great location, right near downtown, quick walk to dinner/cafes. Apartment was very clean & tidy, loved having a kitchen to be able to make food to go on the road while we were out sightseeing. Host left a lovely basket for us with a few local treats upon arrival. He met us to give us the keys when we checked in - host was very friendly and helpful. Check-out was hassle free. Had a great stay overall, would definitely return if we are back in Sao Miguel!

Bed and pillows were not very comfortable but honestly we were so tired from hiking around all day that most nights it didn't matter haha
