West Coast Beach Villa

Close to the beach ⛱️ Location is great Very comfortable

We were six adults for three nights. The villa is very well equipped and had everything and more than we needed. Nice and spacious that makes it feel everyone has their own space. Felt safe at night despite its more remote location in a new development. Great views from the lounge and upper deck. The star highlight had to be the big open braai area. Superb.

It’s obviously well occupied given the excellent environment. As such, there are a few things that need to be replaced. Just wear and tear. Braai utensils, a new dishwasher and toaster spring to mind.

Beautiful location. Villa was very well appointed. We especially liked sitting on the veranda looking out to sea and watching the bird life. Very good meals at local Alegria Restaurant - thanks to Tania for the recommendation!

Peaceful, wonderful view, and the build of the house protects from a sometimes strong wind meaning you can totally enjoy the inside outside flow of the house. The little beach just in front is also wonderful for a quick cold dip.

Lesson learnt, with early check out at 10am book an extra day.

Our stay at West Coast Beach Villa was lovely, offering a serene and picturesque getaway. The villa's proximity to the ocean was a highlight, and while the beach wasn't for swimming, it was still this adorable little spot just a stone's throw away. I adored the spacious kitchen and that awesome braai setup – it made every meal feel like a mini feast. The inverter was a nice bonus for getting work done during load shedding. The beds were seriously comfortable, and the view from the kitchen and main bedroom was beyond words, especially during those gorgeous sunsets.

While the Villa had its charms, there were a few letdowns that impacted our stay. Cleanliness was a major issue upon arrival – the house was quite dusty and cobwebs in various parts of the house were quite off-putting. While the kitchen was well-equipped, the absence of basic tea and coffee felt like a miss, especially considering the thoughtful touches elsewhere. Maintenance seemed lacking, with noticeable cracks in the ceiling and odd sounds when the wind picked up, hinting at loose insulation. The second bedroom's bathroom upstairs definitely needed better ventilation; the mold on the ceiling and rapid fogging post-shower, even with the window open, was a dampener. Downstairs, old water damage that hadn't been addressed was also a downside. These aspects, while not deal-breakers, did detract from an otherwise promising stay.

The location to the ocean was amazing! Tania Bruce was on top of her game and we never once had to ask anything twice. Thank you for even putting up a Christmas tree and lights for us and the baby camping cot for my grandson. The house really has everything one would need for an amazing vacation as well as good wifi and full tv and Netflix channels. Lots of books and magazines for every taste to read. They even supplied beach towels! Thank you for our welcome bottle of West Coast Wine!

The domestic I hired as an addition was totally pathetic and needs skills in cleaning and doing laundry. Left wet washing in baskets and did not work a full day. Her work was hurried and a lot left to be said. Not happy about this. There is also a run around big dog that comes up from the cove that was a nuisance. The roof of the property needs urgent attention as discussed with Tania Bruce.
