"St Helena bay villa"

The views from all the rooms are magnificent. The bay is stunningly beautiful. The sliding doors and shutters brought the outdoors in. We loved watching francolins and guinea fowls foraging and raptors catching field mice. There are wild flowers growing everywhere and we enjoyed visiting the nature reserve and towns nearby. There were sufficient facilities to cater for loadshedding.

There was a fish smell coming from the nearby fish factory on Friday night and Saturday morning, we assume it was due to deep cleaning for the weekend. Thankfully it only lasted a few hours. Some of the crockery was cracked but we were told they were replaced after we left. The mattress in the downstairs room was very hard but we overcame that by using the spare blankets and duvet under the fitted sheet to make it softer. There are some shanty places not too far away.

"Lovely seaside home"

The views are so beautiful, sunrises from the deck and master bedroom. Wonderful facilities and very comfortable.

The location means you often have passersby all times of the day using the area as a walk through, but understandably the area is still under development.
