Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment auf Madeira. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der traumhafte Ausblick – er war absolut das Highlight. Das Apartment selbst ist sehr komfortabel und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Zudem ist die Lage angenehm ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten und Erholen. Auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen – alles ist vorhanden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Komfort, Ruhe und eine schöne Aussicht schätzen.

Its location - not easy to walk anywhere - it’s isolated from the main town if you didn’t want to drive and any walk to town is an hour round trip and the return is all up hill - or up mountain roads! The cracked kitchen window and patio screen was unattractive. The cooker is not a traditional oven - it’s a microwave / grill which is more limiting than a traditional oven / stove. And WiFi is up and down - there is a plug booster in the apartment which suggests the router is not close and I reckon this affected the service as there were a lot of down times which affected laptop use and evening TV.

We absolutely loved our stay. The ocean view is spectacular, apartment is very comfortable, newly constructed and spotless. The kitchen well equipped, terrace well furnished. Very nice location, convenient parking.

Everything! The view was absolutely beautiful. The flat had all necessary amenities and was well equipped. The host was wonderful and the whole process was very smooth. In terms of location, it was nice to be away from busy Funchal and to feel a bit secluded with peace and quiet while still being in a strategic location where you can access both east and west side of the island easily!

Extremely high quality furnishings and decor. Immaculately clean with quality bedding and towels. The size and view from the terrace was outstanding. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful. We had people staying in the apt downstairs while we were there and we heard no noise whatsoever. It is a 5 minute drive to Ribeira Brava up a number of small windy roads but this is very typical in Madeira and having a garage to park in was a huge bonus. As it was December, sleeping at night was comfortable but I would imagine the hotter nights would be uncomfortable without air conditioning. One of my favourite things was the huge shower with constant hot water looking out to sea. The wifi was a bit inconsistent but always worked after the router was unplugged and replugged. We loved it here.

Nothing but a small tip is not to try and turn the car in the garage. We and the people below us both got stuck trying this as the pole in the middle makes it impossible. Reverse the car out to the top of the driveway and perform a 3 point turn there. Easy once you figure it out!

Nous aurions aimé un air climatisé ou des moustiquaires.

Overall, our stay was fabulous! The view you have from every room of the apartment is absolutely breathtaking and exceeded our expectations. The bathroom with the double sink and shower is to die. For and the kitchen provides everything you need and more from Tupperware, cooking essentials, cutting boards etc. to make cooking at home super easy. Did I mention the view already? There is a garage to park your car in which was a huge relief given parking is a bit wonky on Madeira. Again, that view!! If you bring your binoculars you can even spot dolphins from the patio!

A couple of lamps with yellow light in the living room would make a huge difference to help make the apartment feel a bit more homey & cozy and less sterile. A coffee table would also have been nice to put your glasses on while watching TV instead of having to hold them :) Lastly, the place has no AC so, naturally, it gets really hot. A second fan would have come a long way but we ended up leaving the patio doors open while we were out to help get some airflow during the day.
