Location, and flst layout

Very hot in the summer. No proper fans or air conditioning. All fittings except for kitchen are old and overused, stained carpets, holes on wall.

Comfortable and decent location, good price too. Serviceable for the length of our stay.

Lacking in cleanliness - underneath the beds/sofa had not been hoovered for example. Lots of sizeable silverfish in the hallway late at night. The ensuite shower was poor - lukewarm temperature and poor pressure, the shower head also kept falling off. The external door to the balcony in the double bedroom did not feel secure and needs looking at.

It is fairly new, there are two bedrooms and bath/shower rooms and the furniture is modern.

It was difficult to find (the instructions weren’t enough as it wasn’t possible for us to lean on SatNav, particularly at the journey’s end). Areas not easily seen were not clean (e.g. the area at back of kitchen sink). And the balcony area had not been cleaned for some time. Keys and doors were stiff to work. There is virtually nowhere to store clothes in the 2nd bedroom and no drawers for storing anywhere out of the kitchen area. The kitchen cutlery, crockery and cooking/serving utensils supplied were random. Cleaning and shower room liquids etc. were almost used up (or watered down!). The tone in which the guest rules were written was written as if guests were the enemy!

Very clean, modern and central

Nothing our stay was very enjoyable

Two bathrooms. Secure parking. Large main bedroom. Huge balcony. Next to large Waitrose and other shops. Comfortable beds. Good towels. Large shower in en-suite bathroom. Huge windows for catching the light.

Smoke from next door blowing into the flat. You could only use the balcony or have the windows open when they went in. Maybe something could be erected to divert the cigarette smoke? Improvements: glassware, serving bowls. cutlery. Bedroom door to balcony too stiff to open properly (reported).

Modern and had all we needed. Close to all the local facilities

Not enough sofas in the living area. One small sofa that isn’t really suitable for family. Neighbour smoking on the balcony so the smell was coming through the windows.
