Bon emplacement de la location, central par rapport à notre programme de séjour. Appartement confortable dans l’ensemble (petit bémol sur le canapé qui est plutôt inconfortable), propre. Le jardin et la piscine sont disponibles sur le terrain du propriétaire

Appartement sombre, attention à l’accès à la mezzanine

Alles was schoon, zwembad werd dagelijks schoongemaakt, huisje was echt schoon. Huis zelf was ook heel aangenaam. De mensen waren heel erg vriendelijk. Restaurant in het dorpje (op loopafstand) was heel fijn. Andere mooie dorpen op goede afstand. Eigenlijk was dit zoals een vakantie in Toscane moet zijn.

The garden and pool were fabulous and the views from the garden were great, overlooking the Tuscan countryside. To get to the gardens, you have to leave the apartment and walk round - this is fine and we had lunch and dinner in the gardens most days, we just had to carry everything there and back. The apartment was very, very clean.

The apartment is quite dark, especially in the mezzanine bedroom. The stairs to the bedroom are also quite steep and narrow to get up. The "patio" is where the stairs go up to the apartment and it is shared with the neighbouring apartment, which means it felt awkward to use.

This property is in a quiet little part of Castel san Gimignano, and hosted by a very friendly family. The suite has all that you need for a lovely vacation and the gardens are simply beautiful. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t quite warm enough for us, since it is not heated. Our suite had a large bedroom with queen and twin beds and a fun queen sized loft bed above the dining area.

Tricky getting up and down from the loft bedroom and the ceiling there is quite low. You have to keep yourself bent over to move around up there. Looks nice, but not great in the middle of the night. 😉

Lovely location, endless views over the rolling hills. The garden is beautiful, we could eat breakfast or dinner there most days and enjoyed the landscape. The pool was great too. Both are shared but there were no other guests when we were there. The owners are very warm and very welcoming. It is convenient having a little shop and a cafe a few steps away from the house. The house itself is practical and convenient, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen functional.

The house is clearly built to keep the heat out - thick walls, small windows. We were there on a cold week so regretted not having more bigger windows to let the sun in.

Quite dark inside as poor lighting provided. Sofa wasn't very comfy, and very small TV was not really visible from sofa.
