We are a family with 4 young children. Our main goal was to get lost in the streets of Mykonos and take pictures. The location is perfect for this. If you want to spend every day at the beach, you’re probably better off staying outside of Chora as it’s a pain in the butt having to get a bus, taxi, water taxi every time you want to go to the beach. And everything is super marked up in Mykonos. So, you should know what you’re getting yourself into. The location is very handy for those wanting to walk through the maze of streets in Chora. It is a 5 minute stroll from the wind mills and Little Venice. And it is a little over 10 minutes to Panagitsa Paraportiani. There are many beautiful photo ops in between of little white washed lanes and stairs with bougainvilleas and blue/green/red coloured windows and doorways etc. Beautiful. The complex of apartments is cute. We stayed in a large apartment upstairs with two double and two single beds. It was clean enough. The bath room was nice. The kitchen was minimal, but fine. High ceilings. No complaints.

As you make your way home on the first night of your stay, it will dawn on you that this is the loudest spot in all of Chora (and that is saying something!). Next door is an open air night club, complete with live singers. Inside the apartment, it sounds like you are backstage at a live concert. There is no way on earth that you could possibly sleep with the door or windows open or even slightly ajar. It is simply too loud. This live music goes till the wee hours of the morning. I could still hear bass thumping at 5:30am. My recommendation is to start your days by waking up late, staying out as late as you can, closing everything when you come home (doors, shutters, windows, curtains etc.), cranking up the air conditioning with the fan on its loudest setting, and falling asleep listening to a podcast or audio book to mask out the noise. One really annoying thing is that our apartment had a tiny sky light in the kitchen. How I wish it didn’t. The noise that leaked in through that tiny sky light was more than everywhere else combined. A bad architectural choice for sure. And there’s no door to the kitchen, unfortunately, so you’re just stuck with that one weak spot in the otherwise pretty well sealed apartment in terms of sound proofing.

it was extremely loud at night,we had ear plugs and headphones and we struggled to sleep through the loud music and people screaming all night. that's somewhat expected, but do keep that in mind. if you're staying there, you probably should aim to go to bed in the morning and sleep throughout the day. i.e., it's a good place for party goers the bed was quite uncomfortable

It’s good residence for the affordable price, the staff was very accomodating to earlier check in times, with facilities provided.

All pretty good for what was advertised, just a plumbing issue which occurred at the sink, however it was managed by staff appropriately.
