Le calme, la sérénité, l'emplacement dans un merveilleux village. Bonne literie. Salon un peu sombre mais très cocoon. Terrasse agréable.

Des détails : poêle à frire vétuste, absence de casserole.

Well equiped, clean and very peacefull. Perfect location.

Lovely location plus lovely fireplace and a large comfortable bed.

Small Geyser so hot water is limited. Plus toilet seat was lose.

We arrived quite late at night. Our very friendly host met us at the gate. Everything exceeded our expectations - we had wood for the fireplace, complimentary sherry, milk in the fridge as well as rusks for the next morning😄the bed was super comfortable as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better overnight stop. Will definitely recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The cottage is comfortable, exceptionally clean and cozy with everything needed. The hosts and staff were super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond for us. Everything is well maintained and of a high quality.. walking distance to everything and excellent communication. Just book it!

Breakfast not included but homemade rusks, tea, filter coffee, fresh milk etc were delicious and most appreciated. Thank you!

The wood (free bag provided - thank you) was a bit wet and s a result didn't burn well. Nevertheless, another lovely touch!

Shepherds Cottage is very central to everything in the town. There is a separate lounge to relax in. Everything was very comfortable and sherry and filter coffee was provided (which always adds loads of points in my book). We would definitely stay here again.

There was a lovely fireplace with wood provided but our clothes ended up smelling of smoke, however that may have been because we did not vent the fireplace properly

Excellent location and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in this gem of a town. We had plenty of hot water in minus temperatures. Our bed was snug and warm with electric blankets as well as extras to keep the cold at bay. There were lots of little touches that made it feel luxurious and any questions or issues we had were responded to rapidly. The kitchen is well equipped and even though there is no oven you are welcomed to take along an air fryer. There are sheep but honestly we did not smell them or hear them even the lamb twins. On a particularly cold morning the frost sat thick on grass and fleece. The chimney was most cosy and welcome.

Absolutely everything was perfect.
