Alexandra was very easy to communicate with before and during the entire stay. The apartment was very nice and clean and quiet in the evenings. Parking down the street was also very easy (and free) and the location was great as we could walk the center in about 10 minutes.

Large property. Very functional. Well located. Furniture and decor were not our taste.

Alexandra's two story apartment was exactly as photographed. She was very kind to meet us at 7am after our plane arrived. The apartment was spacious, very clean, great views, and quiet. Top rated restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We did not rent a car and walked all over Ponta Delgada. We did do three full day tours and the guide picked us up right outside the apartment building. The bed in the main level bedroom was very firm. We ended up sleeping on the second level after a few nights in the other bedroom. That was just personal preference. Note: this property is on a hill (I believe the translation of the street name is Hot Water Hill) so the apartment seems to be the third and fourth level of the building. You will have a set of stairs to get to your apartment door, a set of stairs to get to the first level of the apartment and a third set of stairs to get to your top level. If you are unable to do stairs this may not be the apartment for you. Also worth noting the shower will be difficult for someone of a larger size. If you need a seat belt extender for your seat on an airplane it will be a very tight fit. The shower might be 28 inches wide and maybe 30 inches in depth but that includes the door and the shower fixtures taking up some of the space. We didn't have a problem with it but it may be an issue for a person of size. We had the cleaning service visit once during our stay and Alexandria was kind enough to swap out towels for us another day. We were able to keep our luggage in her foyer when we checked out and had an evening flight. The next person staying in the apartment had already dropped off their luggage earlier in the morning. Her family lives on the second level of the building, her husband's barber shop is on the first level. A great reference point for taxi/tour drivers! We would definitely stay in this apartment again when visiting Ponta Delgada.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and well located. The views from the balconies were incredible! Alexandra, our host, was extremely nice and accommodating for an odd check in time (apologies for the early morning!) She gave us great advice on parking and the surrounding neighborhood. We rented a car and had no trouble parking in on a large street a few blocks away.
