Everything was perfect, from the friendly host to the bright, stylish apartment with large windows that offered a breathtaking view to the plantations

We found the bathroom and toilet design to be inconvenient, as they were not properly noise-separated from the rest of the apartment. This made it uncomfortable for both the bathroom users and others in the room

I loved the view! How quiet and serene it was in the apartment was and the property overall. Easy check in and easy check out.

We loved the incredible view and the location of the apartment in an historical pineapple plantation. Being on the outskirts of Ponta Delgada was perfect - a very quiet stay and central to all of the sites we wanted to see. The gardens were beautiful and it was perfect having access to the hotel amenities. We used the pool and even had a quick soak in the hot tank located in a pineapple greenhouse.

I really can't think of anything that would improve the stay. There are steps (55 of them, I think) to access the apartment but without them, the view wouldn't be the same. We loved this stay!

Loved the location and beautiful view. Restaurant on the property was great and the pools were incredible!!!!

Would recommend adding a map to the entrance - google directions take you down a one way road next to the property. Would also recommend having sheets on hand for the pullout bed.

The hosts were great, the apartment was very complete, had everything we needed, very spacious, using the hotel facilities as a bonus was amazing, plus having parking place

The apartment had a little cockroach problem ( a couple appeared dead). They explained that this is common in the island, but they had already fumigated the place. They were very polite about it and apologised

The apartment was excellent with beautiful views. The apartment was well equipped and very suitable for a couple wanting a quiet location. The hotel next door was also very handy for quality services available if required - both restaurants there were excellent.

Bathroom could do with a minor makeover. The washbasin faucet was loose and the WC flush button had been broken and was replaced by a fashioned cork which worked well but looked homemade (which it was) but very effectively engineered to fit.

Upon arrival we discovered the extended facilities of this apartment, which (probably due to our own reading skills) were many more then we expected. The Apartment is next to a beautiful high end boutique hotel, and you are allowed to make use of their facilities, many free of charge. We have enjoyed the Outdoor pool, the Sauna, the Turkish Steambath and the hottub situated in the Pineapple glass house. We were enjoying our honeymoon, and these extra's really made the stay more than perfect. The apartment self is spacious, with comfy bathroom and bed. The kitchen was convenient, for simple cooking. The location felt like a little paradise hidden in the midst of a city, very quite and peaceful. Last but not least, the sushi rooftop restaurant of the hotel is just amazing! What a great quality of food and surprising combination of tastes. I'd recommend this place highly!

Only the cooking utensils in the kitchen were somewhat basic and could use an upgrade.
