PDL Central Apartments - Four

O acolhimento por parte da anfitriã Rafaela foi excelente. Foi sempre muito disponível e atenta às nossas dúvidas. A localização do apartamento também é muito boa, muito central e fica relativamente perto de dois estacionamentos gratuitos.

Our host was delightful with wine, fruit and goodies ready for us to enjoy. She took the time to give us guidance on grocery shopping and dining. The binder of information provided was very helpful. The full kitchen was great and included a clothes dryer. There was plenty of hot water plus a bidet! Great ventilation with windows opening at front and rear of apartment. The AC worked well plus there was an excellent electric fan available. Responsiveness of the host was top notch. Had and issue with the toilet and she had it taken care of within 24 hours. Having towel specifically for use at the thermal baths! Very centrally located which is always great.

The shower is a bit tricky to get into and out of plus the shower floor was extremely slippery. Some type of grab bar would be extremely helpful along with a nonslip floor mat. Did notice that the shower pipe had been pulled away from the wall. Most likely by someone grabbing it for support while entering the shower. Not having a drying rack. There are clothes lines available out the rear window, but it is rather precarious, even unsafe, when attempting to hang laundry out to dry. A few minor care items such as the electric range needed to be leveled. Cookware had extremely loose handles making them questionable for safe use, plus no pot holders available The kitchen sink had no stopper making a bit more challenging to wash dishes. It would also have been most convenient to have a 3-outlet extension cord at each bedside table for plugging in devices. Parking was not completely convenient. There was parking on the street, but we were not comfortable parking there due to how narrow the street was. There was a free parking lot a couple of blocks up the street which worked great. However it was hit or miss as to if a spot would be available. We were able to find a parking spot every time we needed one. No elevator in the building.
