Location is very good

It was not clean. Furniture was either damaged, stained or rusted.

The location and the views.

Cleanliness was not up to scratch, there were cockroaches in the kitchen drawers and cupbaords, couches not comfortable and show signs of lots of wear. Maintenance and fumigation should have been attended to before occupancy. Rather disapponting despite assurances that the cockroach infestation had been attended to when asked before arriving, as other guests had noted this before in their reviews.

Everything,we enjoyed everyday there.The weather also played along so well.

The iron was burned and did not work,but our host was very helpfull and got us a new one.

Such an amazing location with stunning views of Table Mountain and beautiful sea and beach. Very comfortable and really good facilities at the apartment. Enjoyed our time spent together while staying here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Safe and secure parking. Equipped with absolutely everything one could need. Stunning views of Table mountain and Robben island. Large balcony to enjoy these views.

The agent was very accommodating and assisted by meeting me at a pickup location as was not able to do the check in on site. Much appreciated.

The apartment is listed as “modern” and although aesthetics wise, does not really meet all the requirements for a modern apartment. The apartment is simply not upgraded to be classed as suitable for staying in given the load shedding situation. One would think all apartments have somehow taken steps to address the issues and make changes. This one has no inverter (to run basic amenities). I had enquired about that so knew it didn’t. But the apartment didn’t even have 1 chargeable lantern, no power self charging lightbulbs no battery wall lights or even a candle or candle holders. So you just need to sit in darkness. Many properties have made suitable changes to tackle the issue. The internet did not work 99% of the time. We addressed and routers were swapped out twice. They came 3 x to assess and “fix” but sadly this was futile. We were told it’s load shedding issues and not to run too many devices (which wasn’t possible because you couldn’t even get a cellphone or laptop to connect, let alone the streaming or Netflix). It says connected but no internet. The only luck is hijacking the neighbours internet from other apartments in the same building who amazingly had at times (so they need to fix their service provider and get a booster). This is a ground floor flat of a multi story apartment block so clearly the signal is not good. It’s disappointing there was no compensation or discount or reimbursement given for the inconvenience of the “non-services”. It was ignored by owner. Instead we landed up paying way more for the stay as had to constantly buy additional data to be able to work and use internet. Which was more than 2 nights stays (given the high internet costs here). If I was the owner I would have discounted for services you said you’d supply. The apartment needs a dehumidifier as the bedroom is very damp. Our luggage on the floor developed mould due to due and water run off from the glass windows always making the floor wet. Bathroom damp too.

Views of the table mountain, the sea and Robben Island from the balcony. The area was quite, peaceful and safe. WiFi available even during loadshedding. Supermarkets and restaurants available nearby.

No back up during loadshedding. I suggest that they at least get rechargeable lights.
