what an amazing place! the location is unlike anything else. Very remote, yet conveniently close to the village of Valtounenche. Host Agostino is super helpful and kind. Hoping to come back soon!

"The PERFECT getaway from everthing, for those who appreciate peace and nature in its magnificence"

A great balance between the traditional feel of an alpine cabin and all the modern facilities you can ask for. True ever-changing, breath-taking, dramatic views 360 degrees around you. Pastoral quiet and serenity disturbed only by the ringing of bells hung on bulls' necks in the adjacent meadow. A well equipped kitchen, a huge shower, efficient heating, a comfy bed. This is a perfect home (away from home) base for long walks in the surrounding alpine forests, with many well-marked trails zigzaging all over the nearby slopes. Agostino the host was always kind and helpful with any issue or question we had.

Having to leave and get back to our normal lives...
