Angolo Alla Fortezza - Gigliola Contucci

This property offers a lot of space and is in a very good location at the top of the town. the hosts are kind and accommodating. we learned the history of the family that owns it and we’re delighted to have stayed here. the restaurant below also serves excellent food and has top notch service.

-location -park near location -big rooms -extra bed -clean

-cold; it was really cold when we arrived and we were Not allowed to use the heating as the owner said the municipality do not let them use it. I told the owner that this is not mentioned in the apartment announcement on Booking and it is against Booking policy and rules. Owner told us that we can go home if we are not happy. We were with a small child after a long drive and we couldn't just let it go and return home. In the end we used air conditioner in one room to make heat (but air is dry when you heat the room like this) and the guests in the living room stayed in cold during accommodation as the air conditioner did not worked in their room. -I knew before booking that there was a restaurant at ground floor opening at 8AM, closing at 10PM but they were making a lot of noise moving chairs and hitting something from 10 PM to 12-13 AM. At the end they were throwing big bags of glass bottles making an absurd noise for that hour. Same thing was happening in the morning when garbage truck worker was throwing again the same bags of glass bottles in the truck. We were up instantly. -tea bags were expired and we threw them away just

This is the best place to stay... It looks stunning, and is in the city centre so you can enjoy all wine tastings in the centre. The bed is comfortable and the apartment has 2 bathrooms. The host was nice.

Narrow streets for parking.... But it is not the problem of the property.

Ideal location just inside the old city at the top of the hill. A great point to begin and end the day. A perfect central location to drive around Tuscany.
