Beautiful place in nature, close to Monteriggioni, really cozy and Marina was a great host

The road was in a bit rough state because of the rain, making it a bit challenging. Wifi was working on and off, and the cooking utensils weren’t fully operational

Lovely cottage up a country lane , clean and spacious, friendly owner. 20 minute walk to the lovely small walled town of Monterigioni with bars and restaurants.

The place is located very quiet and idyllic, with forests, pastures and mountains around it. The apartment had everything we needed and the was in very good condition. The host is super nice, helpful and easy to communicate with in English.

Great location in an old farmhouse with lovely walks straight from the front door. Right on the Via Francigena and a few minutes from the beautiful Monteriggioni village. Pleasant garden area for our own use. Spotless inside.

A little dark inside for Autumn, but in Summer that’s probably just what you want to keep cool.

Remote without a vehicle

We had not realised there would be no shops or facilities nearby so were facing a morning without breakfast. Marina was so kind to offer to run us to a restaurant and to provide us some simple breakfast provisions. if you are hiking the Francigena, make sure you have provisions as you leave Colle Val d’Elsa !

The whole of the property was fantastic.

A wonderful cosy place on a quiet rural road just minutes from Monteriggioni. Lots of character and very spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking immediately outside the accommodation. Immediate access on foot to the Via Francegena and a short drive to many other trails. Owner very helpful and friendly.

We liked everything.

Spacious, tasteful, peaceful and clean. Eventually warm.

Freezing, old towels, damp bedding, old kitchen cleaning pads, no host on arrival or message to advise it is already “open”, long walk to Trattoria.
