Marina Palace Paraiso

PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS. AT THE TIME OF WRITING THE POOL IS CLOSED AND IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT WILL BE OPENING ANYTIME SOON. We specifically asked for a swimming pool for our holiday and this property is advertised with a pool and pool bar with 6 photographs to show these. We added a filter on our booking to choose a pool as we would not have stayed in this resort otherwise. The nearby beaches are like gravel rather than sand so a pool was essential for us. Our stay was ruined. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool was empty and cordoned off and there would be no chance of using it or the pool bar. We should have been made aware of this and a full refund offered prior to arrival as clearly we would not have travelled here. We could only imagine what it would be like if families turn up with small children. What a huge disappointment. The apartment was ok on the surface apart from the smells that were being covered up by air fresheners. When the sinks and toilet were used there were strong sewage smells and cupboards and drawers had smells similar to mould. The outside areas have dog faeces that is just left there and there is a sign up to ask residents to clean up after their pets, some of them do not do this. There are also health and safety issues in the corridors due to exposed wiring in light fittings etc. In summary, we feel cheated and lied to about this apartment and our whole experience was ruined. It is not fair to advertise facilities to potential clients and then not deliver on them. Choose somewhere that will treat you, as paying customers, with more respect.

cupboards in the the apartment were full of mould. tree growing into the balcony through the awning. only half a toilet roll for the week. lights in the corridor outside our apartment out. old furniture left in public areas. pool bar open one day out of seven days. pool closed after second day. no reception. outside of the complex covered in dog poo. play paraiso not equipped for self catering holidays so please stop selling apartments in this area as there is nothing to do.

A fully fitted apartment in a good location. Just across the road from the shopping centre. Short walk to a high attention with lots of shops and bars, and a great selection of restaurants

Nothing not to like. Everything you might need is there in the apartment.
