Very friendly and helpful lady met us to hand over the keys

Very neat and modern accommodation. Situated close to the beach, Shops and restaurants. Bed comfortable. Host friendly and very helpful.

It was nice to be greeted and welcomed and not just with the keys but taken into the apartment and showed us around.

There was nothing not to like

The location was perfect for me. The apartment was clean, well-organised and well-equipped. I was personally welcomed by the host and really pleased to find coffee, tea, milk and sugar thoughtfully left for me. Loadsheddding was no issue as there was more than adequate lighting as well as a small gas stove.

It was nicely decorated and clean. Only a quick walk from the beach and a beautiful view of table mountain. For the most part it contained everything that you need for a self catering place which is great.

Since load shedding is a part of the daily life, having a backup light source would have been good. There was a little flashlight however it did not hold battery life. There were a few candles and no lighter. I would recommend the use of artificial tea lights if open flame is a concern. The extra mile would be a loadshedding schedule for those who are not familiar with this concept.

The host is very nice, extremely accommodating, and was available to answer questions at all times. The apartment is extremely close to the hub of Bloubergstrand restaurants, beach access, biking and walking/jogging trail, and costal road. From the restaurants or beach you can watch the kite and wind surfing.
