Hambleton House

Nice location and quite homely.

Only real issue was the WiFi, almost impossible to watch Netflix. Also quite pricey in comparison to other similar homes.

For us it was a perfect location, and property size was spot and ample for us all. I have family still in the local in the area , plus my son was joining the Army, and starting his basic training in Catterick that weekend. The house was lovely and homely, and met all out needs, location is very central to every ware we needed to go to. Fantastic communication before and after our stay. Hopefully booking up again for 2025 .

Couldn’t get the shower to be hot

The bed was very comfy and of a good size, the lounge and TV cosy. Central heating nice and warm. Plenty of hot water

It would be helpful to have a curtain at the top of the stairs as going to the bathroom in the night you can be seen , a pair of scissors in the drawer and oven gloves. There were no casserole/lasagne type cooking dishes

loved the accommodation clean and tidy. beds were comfortable. Nice touch with the 4 bottles of beer.

Can not find anything we did not like

Property was lovely, clean and we had everything we needed, plus some extra goodies was a nice addition. Certainly would highly recommend it. Price was a little high considering other prices in the area but still decent value for money. Definitely will use again.

Bit pricey for a short stay. Pillows were not great. Thats all.

We found the house clean and comfortable. Good location for exploring Richmond and Wensleysdale. The street was quiet and shops only 5 minutes away

No patio chairs or bench in the garden to relax on. Only a picnic table

It was a spacious house with garden. Very cosy. There were dishes and plates, cutlery provided and some washing up liquid. In the kitchen there was some soap, but upstairs in the bathroom hand gel was provided. There were towels for every bed, a king size bed (I estimate, I don’t know bed sizes very well), and two double beds in the other bedroom. TV in the living room downstairs, with enough electric plugs around for our electronics to charge. The sofa was very cosy too, and the kitchen had a bar type of table with high chairs.

It was all good, there could’ve been a bit more washing up liquid and soap in the kitchen, and some shower gel in the bathroom, but that’s a minor thing. (We brought our own shower gel.)
