Casa da Praia, a Home in Madeira

Centrally located on the island. Quiet. Comfy bed. Outdoor sitting area. Free parking. Well equipped for a short stay. You can walk to the Levada Nova hike which is a nightmare for parking. The host provided coffee and fruit which was a nice touch.

Not really walking distance from much, so you have to drive to get to most places, especially shops. There were two pretty decent restaurants a couple hundred meters away though.

Amplitud, limpieza, lugar muy tranquilo Cocina totalmente equipada. Terraza. Aparcamiento privado. Muy cómodas las camas.

Por decir algo, la ducha estaba algo atascada, avisamos y vinieron. Y si hubiese lavavajillas sería la pera!

Staying here was very pleasant and comfortable. The house is quite spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent accessibility everywhere on the island and also from the main drag but far enough to be quiet. Beautiful view and terrace where we enjoyed it.

Looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean, modern interior. Super convenient to park your rented car in the dedicated parking spot. In the middle of our 10-day stay the house was thoroughly cleaned and we got fresh sets of towels, linen etc. We felt very welcomed partly thanks to Sidonia, our point of contact from Home in Madeira, who showed us around initially and then during our stay kept us informed about for example weather warnings, current events in Funchal etc. We'll make sure to come back

Excellent communication with landlords. Everything as in the description. Appropriate equipment. They also came to clean the apartment in the interim. Collection and delivery of keys is carried out in the keybox at the entrance to the apartment. Therefore, there are no problems with late or early arrival/departure.

Detected smell of damp, musty. I allow the possibility that because of the rainy and cold period and consequently worse ventilation.
