Beautiful Mountain Studio in The Blue Mountains

The location of North Creek Resort is great. Only a 2-3 minute drive to Blue Mountain Resort and about a 5-10 minute drive to public beaches.

Having to pay an additional $70 cleaning fee when the room was very dirty when we arrived. What are we paying for? The couch was old, stained and filthy. We had to sweep the floors again once we arrived. The curtains were dirty and lying on the floor (too long). The screen door to the terrace didn't function properly (didn't slide smoothly). The security bar for the main sliding door worked but it was broken (the part that extends falls out of the main bar). I had to restart the router (not a big deal) to get the WiFi to work properly. There were only two towels for 4 people and the water didn't go down the drains in the bathroom sink and shower. One of the window blinds was broken (the bar to open the shutters was on the fireplace mantle). The crank to open the window was also missing. Old batteries were left on the fireplace mantle (again, why are we paying a cleaning fee?). What's crazy is that these are the same complaints that other people had 1-2 years ago!

Good location.

The couch and pillows could use a good cleaning. (paint job to give it a fresh look). I was able to get connect to the wifi🙁.

The Blue Mountain trip and stay, both were underwhelming and disappointing.

Everything was tolerable, little outdated, the couch was grossly stained, but tolerable until we tried to sleep.

They have a faulty strobe emergency light and it went off at 2:30 am, 4:30 am and 5:15 am. I am here for work, and now sleepless. Due to no one being on site no one could help me.

The apartment was in a great location. Close to the village and the hills but not so close that we were able to go back at the end of the night and just relax without all the music and crowds. Also, the shuttle and staff driving them were amazing , and I was just able to park at the beginning of the week and let someone else take over that task. It was great to be able to cook when we wanted to have the kitchen in the apartment but still have many, many options when we didn't want to.

The upstairs neighbors weren't very neighborly, coming in quite late each night, running up and down the stairs, jumping around and playing music quite loudly and just generally being so loud. I think a couple extra utensils in the kitchen (measuring spoons, small spoons to eat with) and a bit more toilet paper and paper towel being left, but other than that, we loved it!!!
