On The Beach Front Sea Spray

Absolutely loved the sea view and the fact that it was close to everything just placed the cherry on top. Definitely going back!!!

Only good thing was the view

The place was dirty, stank of cigarettes as the refuse bin had been used to dump cigarette ash over a long time and never washed out, cutlery drawer was broken, dish cloths are old and stained, walls painted a hideous water based blue that had stains on them from fat, fatty hands, the bed headboard had fatty hand prints against the wall, furniture is old and worn out, the bed sheets were dirty, had pet hair, fluff on it and other things not to be mentioned here. We arrived late at the apartment and had no time to find another place, we bought new bedding, took off all the bad stuff. Spoke to the owner on whatsapp, he offered to send the cleaner the next day at 10, not good as the apartment should have been checked before we got there which he obviously did not do, his comment on the stains was " its been there a long time and will paint in the winter" this is not acceptable, he could close the bookings over a weekend and repaint and clean immediately. Adter telling him we not happy he offered to refund if want to leave in the morning, and i replied he must send me proof of the refund for 2 of the 3 nights, which he did, at least he kept his word on this. We found another place up the road at the same cost and a million times better. Obviously we did not leave our new bedding there and returned the apartment to him as we found it. We have a lot of photos of the place and recoreded the whatsapp messages if Booking.com want it. Until the owners sort this place to a respectable standard it should not be listed at all.

The view is to die for! Great view of the beach and of Table mountain and Lions head. You are literally, quite literally across the street from the beachfront. You exit the gate, cross a 2 lane street and you are on the beach!!! Super convenient, amazing. For the price, it is steal for a beachfront apartment! Wow!

The place is a little old styled so the furnishings are not so modern but it is comfortable and again for the price it makes it fair. But it is well equipped with almost any appliances you would need and everything was in working order.

Everything is perfect. Watching the ocean daily is amazing no matter the weather.
