On the Beach at Hastings Point

Frying pans need replacing and maybe coffee pods for the coffee machine

No wifi or linen provided unfortunately.

We loved the beautiful outlook to the ocean from the kitchen, lounge and deck at this property. The proximity to the beautiful quiet beach was great. Loved sitting on the deck at sunrise and sunset, enjoying the stunning view and seeing pods of whales in the distance. So relaxing and would definitely come back to enjoy this beautiful place again.

The only little spoilers were running out of hot water after only one short shower, Saturday night for some reason?… Maybe being a duplex someone next door used a lot of hot water before we got there Saturday night? Not sure?…maybe we share a hot water system with them?? Then very early Monday morning had noisy Tradies come in and renovate underneath & in front of our deck, …..unfortunate timing for us, but I guess work needs to go on. These things would certainly not stop us from coming back to this beautiful property again sometime as everything else about it was great.

The view is to die for stacks of whales sprouting and dolphins great just happened to be whale season when we were there.

As we are older the 15 steps up to 5.and the driveway was very steep but we were able to put out car in a garage.. Hastings point is a family holiday place at the council camping place for 70 years so I love the place.know where to fish and pippies and of course tabbing.memories for me.

on site parking was basic. There was also an issue with walking into the building as a neighbour ( unit 3) regularly parked one of their cars across the path leading to the entrance to the building forcing you to walk onto the neighbouring property to get to the steps. This is a dangerous situation especially if an emergency situation was to develop with fire or ambulance required. There should a No Parking sign installed and this should be policed. It is also difficult to move your items from your car to the unit because of the blocked enterence.

View was amazing, clean unit, decent fridge. We had a fabulous stay.

There was a cat smell in the main bedroom so I ended up on the couch. As this stay was a small part of a bigger trip, I booked without realising I had to bring linen for three beds when all the other places I booked had linen was a little painful. Car didn't fit in the garage and there was no close on road parking available and no other spots on the property.

Very happy to be back.
