Newcourt B & B

Nice ambiance. Property manager sent a message about the route and parking instructions. Lots of stuff to eat.

The location was ideal for our intended purpose and accommodation was spacious . The bed was comfy.

It didn’t feel like we were expected and we didn’t feel welcomed - greeted with a chap who asked who we’d booked with .He replenished fruit bowl and bread after we arrived Rooms were dark with old fashioned /dated decor , accommodation felt/smelt damp A couple of the towels provided were old/stained There was a lot of what I’d describe as clutter which made it feel we were staying in a friends spare room rather than a b&b business - particularly in the bathroom ( aftershave various shower gels etc) which presented a rather untidy feel to the property Breakfast was very disappointing it felt like we had leftovers ( end of an opened loaf of bread long life rather than fresh croissants again opened/half used bag) Whilst there was a lot of cereal I’d have preferred not to have such an array of ‘leftovers’ the only fresh items were fruit and the milk , butter and other items in the fridge Instructions misleading - payment said cash and 11am checkout but we could have paid card and checkout was midday

Amazing. Basically an apartment with absolutely everything needed for a great stay.
