Very light, modern, open planned kitchen/lounge area. Spacious accommodation for 2. Afternoon/evening sun in rooms and on patio. Private. Well equipped.

Low headroom in shower

Beautiful, clean, and well-maintained place with everything we needed. The views were stunning! Excellent location for a wedding we were addtedning locally.

The only minor issue was the limited headroom in the shower, which might be a bit awkward for taller guests. Whilst not something the host can change, it's worth being aware of when booking.

Steep steps up. Shower not really suitable for tall people. Couldn’t find info on how to operate tv.

The location is absolutely stunning. It's next to a beautiful field, there are plenty of places to walk around outside, and it is very, very quiet. The accommodation itself is a converted barn, pretty clean and modern.

There are a couple of problems which stood out during our stay: - The shower is absolutely tiny. I'm moderately tall and even I had to hunch over to take a shower. - Ventilation isn't great. We visited in June and even then it was stuffy. Fans helped but not a lot.

Well furnished, clean flat

We arrived at dusk and there were no outside lights on. A sensor controlled light would be really helpful especially on the rickety stairs and above the key box to make it easier to open than having to hold the light from the phone and try to work the numbers. The ceiling in the shower was very low and we bumped our heads. I don’t recall reading a warning about access being up narrow outside stairs and restricted headroom in the bathroom. It would have been useful if this had been included. Some people would find it even more difficult than we did.

Perfect! The barn is decorated beautifully and everything is great quality! The directions for arrival were very clear and helpful. We stayed with our 2 young children - the toddler had the main bedroom (ofcourse) but the sofa bed was absolutely fine - it’s a good quality one so that’s makes a big difference. Steve has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and easy.

Could do with a mirror and somewhere to put your hair/make up things, either a little shelf near sink in bathroom or even better a mirror on back of door or in living room the tiny shaving one in bathroom was very difficult to do hair/make up in but understand sloped ceiling makes it a little difficult hence back of door would work well. It did get very warm overnight and meant windows needed to be open, perhaps little window netting to stop bugs would help too.
