Fieldside Barn

A beautifully designed and thought out space, with wonderful light and views across the adjacent fields. We loved everything about our stay.

Wonderful clean comfortable flat with everything’s you might need in a beautiful place.

The place is beautiful and beautifully done out. It’s well equipped, spacious, modern and well decorated. Decorated and fitted out to a high standard. Lots of really nice thoughtful touches like the lamps and heating on to give a warm welcome. Complimentary things like cookies really do make a difference. I don’t drink coffee but for coffee lovers there was a coffee machine. Communication from the owners was good and helpful instructions on finding the place. The outlook is beautiful, open plains with deer right outside. I had everything I needed, a desk to work at, a TV and heating that was easy to use. So quiet and peaceful, I got a really good nights sleep. The bed was comfy. The arrangements for key collection really convenient.

Very hard to get the shower temperature right, it was far too hot until I realised adjusting the pressure helped. scalding! The several piles of dog poo on the gravel path leading to the property were most unwelcome and not really acceptable. (at least 6 different piles so not regularly picked up)

Highly recommended. Lovely hosts, both so helpful and I felt very welcome and during my 3 day stay whilst working in the area. The bed was so comfortable, it was really clean throughout. I had a great night's sleep. It was so quiet and lots of privacy. It is a lovely space and you had everything you would need, I felt right at home. Thank you for having me.
