The location The space

Lack of towels left out. Only one sun lounger. No mirrors in the bedrooms.

The apartment was very clean, very well equipped kitchen, two nice bathrooms, comfortable beds. The owners are very kind and helpful. The restaurants are within walking distance (~7min), the beach is 100m away. Private parking space under the building. It was the perfect stay.

The apartment door is squeaking quite loudly. It would be nice (especially for the neighbors) to have it fixed 🙂

Very spacious apartment, very clean and well equipped. Air con throughout was an added bonus. Sergio the owner was excellent in communication. Beach at the end of the street and a wraparound balcony. The pictures do not do justice to how nice the apartment is Highly recommend

There were no negatives

Large and comfortable apartment, great location next to the beach. All rooms with air conditioning. Friendly hosts. Kitchen is fully equipped. Good price.

I can't think of negative aspects

Everything apartment was spotless, location was ideal only two of us could have fitted in far more and still had space. Great balconies, Netflix and tv very good.

Nothing

The apartment was great. Bathroom/toilet downstairs and upstairs is very practical. Good beds with choice of pillows (also soft ones which I like most). Kitchen nice with enough glasses, cutlery and cooking pans. And even the frying pans were good, which is quite exceptional because these are often so much scratched that they are hard to use. The balcony is big (the apartment is on the corner of a street, so two sides) with lots of sunshine. Upstairs there's another smaller balcony. Very close to the sea and it's a nice walk via the sea promenade to the center of town (about 1,5-2 km). We were there in January, so everything was very quiet and lots of bars and restaurants were closed. I imagine it will be quite different during high season, although it's a small town without high-rise apartments. Certainly not Benidorm :). TV with Netflix etc., nice at long winter evenings. All in all a very nice apartment, perfect for a longer stay. Murcia is not far away (30-45 minutes by car) and is a very nice city to visit.

Not really a big issue, but still: It's not uncommon in Spain that access to the apartment is done by picking up the keys from a small box at the entrance, using a code you receive via email or whatsapp. It works, but it is quite impersonal. We never had contact with the host Sergio, but via whatsapp with a lady (whose name I still don't know :)), although our questions were always answered quickly and friendly. It's also common in Spain not to leave any instructions in the apartment about how to use household appliances or in our case, how to open the balcony doors or find the drawer with the cutlery. And those questions are obviously often asked because you receive instruction videos as a reply. I would prefer a little handbook with instructions and guidelines when there's no personal reception.

Location 100 m from beach, cafes and beach huts all along beach, spectacular views, very secure, multiple parking options. 5 min drive to supermarkets. Spectacular Cartagena 30 min drive . Great wine and food at cheap prices. Lovely weather mostly ( in October). Sergio couldn’t have been more helpful. Fab new and well equipped kitchen with complete range of utensils. 2 lovely bathrooms, 3 spacious bedrooms. We spent at least a 1/3 of our time on the spacious balcony, using the awnings when very sunny. All had breakfast out there each day.

One bed, occupied by my wife and I was vey creaky. Be wary of possible head injury if over 6 ft tall, when descending stairs.
