Perfect location, everything you need in the lodge and lovely owners

Sehr schön eingerichtete Unterkunft mit viel Platz, vor allem im Wohnzimmer (für große Menschen evtl. ungeeignet, da die Decke teilweise sehr niedrig ist). Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Ausstattung in der Küche ausreichend, der Kühlschrank war riesig. Im Kühlschrank gab es Milch und es war Tee und Kaffee vorhanden. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung war ruhig, abgesehen von den Militärflugzeugen, die regelmäßig über das Grundstück flogen.

Es sollte möglich sein, dass Schlafzimmer vollständig abzudunkeln (z. B. durch einen Vorhang zwischen Küche und Schlafzimmer). Das Waschbecken im Badezimmer war so klein, dass man es im Prinzip nicht benutzen konnte. Die Schubladen in der Küche sind ziemlich überlastet vom Gewicht des Inhalts und die Waschmaschine sollte regelmäßig gereinigt werden, da diese etwas muffig roch. Generell wirkte die Unterkunft teilweise etwas abgewohnt und könnte an der einen oder anderen Stelle überarbeitet werden. Der Garten bietet leider keine Privatsphäre.

Eigener Raum für Dusche, aber kein Bad: Man muss sich die Zähne in der Küche putzen. Nicht empfehlenswert für Menschen über 1,80m: Mehrere Möglichkeiten, sich den Kopf arg anzustossen

Stayed here overnight as we were having a birthday dinner at Jeremy Clarkson's Farmer's Dog pub, which is around 8 minutes' drive away. The Lodge is ideally located to explore the Cotswolds, in a quiet part of a small village. Quirky property, really interesting decor, bright and airy with lots of natural light, very clean, with comfy beds, very well-equipped apart from a couple of things (outlined below). Nice to have teabags, coffee, sugar and fresh milk provided. Easy to gain access - a code is sent to you the morning of your arrival - and there is private, secure parking with an electric charging point.

We were only there overnight but ran out of toilet paper and couldn't find any more! Yes, we could have asked (the owner's property is right next door), but we didn't want to make a fuss as it was late at night. A bit of kitchen roll or disposable cloths for wiping up the kitchen would also have been a good idea. The proximity of Brize Norton also means there were a few very low (loud) military planes overhead, but this wasn't overbearing at all. Not moaning, just a couple of things which could have made it better still!

Could do with a bigger TV

Decor, location , owner easily contactable and the reasonable price.

No milk, although tea & coffee av. TV far too small. & stand broken. Put was not flagged up by previous guests or cleaners.

Casa muy bonita y cuidada, buena limpieza .Parking, secador de pelo, gran frigorífico, bonita decoración y camas cómodas, aunque apenas disfrutamos de ella al pasar todo el día de turismo por los costwolds q está muy bien situada para ello.

Baño y ducha muy justitos, pero bueno para un par de noches tampoco es problema, algo difícil encontrar el pequeño camino dónde está situado

Good location, clean and tidy lodge. Excellent communication with owner. Good value.

No hot water for washing up. Wasn’t aware how close lodge was to owner’s property. Felt a bit strange being in the back garden.
