It’s remoteness. It’s a long abandoned farming community now famous for seeing the flowers. There are for sure more comfortable places in Nieuwoudtville.

Fantastic location and the host was extremely helpful and friendly, going the extra mile by proving a map of the area and pointing out locations where the flowers are still in bloom.

The unit is dated and is in need of basic maintenance.

It is a lovely authentic farm stay. Flowers stunning! We had all we needed and Erica is a helpful friendly hostess. Easy to get meat and wood for a braai from them.

The electric blankets could be updated and bigger linen on the one bed.
