Apê Tijucano Arejado e Silencioso - 5 min do metrô

Gostamos muito do Apê, fui com minha familia, achamos o apê com tudo muito limpo e organizado para nos receber, local seguro, rua fechada com guarita, perto do mêtro, com locais perto para comer, mercados, farmácias.

Hosts were very communicative and always available. Any issues were promptly resolved . Great location. Easy self check-in and check-out. Kitchen is well equipped and we were happy to find a jug of cold water in the fridge when arriving. They also provided a baby cot and baby linen for no extra fee. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working and we asked for it to be fixed after we left. The hosts kindly removed the overuse fee (described below) because of this issue.

The flat is located on the 1st floor, accessible via stairs only, no lift. There is 1 set of stairs from the building door to the lobby and 2 sets of narrow stairs from the lobby to the flat. This is important when travelling with kids and/or with someone who is disabled. The flat is not quiet as advertised. You can easily hear the traffic from the main road (Haddock Lobo), the upstairs neighbour drags furniture around their house at 1am local time, the windows are very noisy and would wake baby up in the other room! Furniture and the flat itself are a bit overused and need some refurbishing. There is mould in the kitchen sink and in the bathroom. There are broken baby proofing items glued to some drawers. We tried using the oven and it didn’t light up, we didn’t report this to the hosts though, and just looked for another alternative instead. There is an extra fee for overuse of the air conditioners which is fair. However, I was only informed about that rule 1 day before the arrival date - by that time I wouldn’t get a refund if I canceled the reservation. They are the hosts and are entitled to enforce whatever rules they like but the customer needs to have a chance to not accept them and get a refund to book somewhere else in case they can’t abide by their rules for any reason. Informing us 1 day before the start of our stay was not ok. In summary, it is a nice place for a short stay (up to 3 days), ok-ish for up to 5 days, but wouldn’t recommend for more than 5 days as these little issues start getting to you.

Great accommodation! Clean, air-conditioned, superb location – close to the metro, very friendly hostess – highly recommended.

Very comfortable apartment (totally renovated). The street is a quiet dead-end street with private security, and it is very safe to park the car. The metro at a one-block distance is very useful for exploring the city. The neighborhood is very safe and full of options (restaurants, grocery stores, gym, pubs, ...). The hostess was very helpful and promptly answered all of our requests.
