"Pretty cottage in great location"

This is a super cottage in a pretty location, within easy reach of Durham and all its amenities. We particularly appreciated the off road parking. The cottage is clean and bright, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This is our 4th visit to this property as it suits our needs perfectly.

"Very Basic"

Location, communication and parking were good. Suitable for an overnight stay but not a break or holiday.

Very basic accommodation. Weeds in front garden, minimal cheap furnishings. Only one bowl in kitchen (which was noted in an earlier review) - we purchased two more. Patchy woodchip wallpaper, rickety stair treads (bottom two are rotten and sink when you step on them) Lack of privacy - no curtains on laundry room and bathroom. Stains on the sofa.

"Had good time, enjoyed our stay"

Appreciate luke stays for their professionalism. They were in constant touch when ever needed. It was easy to collect keys from the lock box. Property was made ready for us to enjoy our stay. Excellent location. Neighbourhood was good and peaceful.

Though we liked the property, it would have been good if the property management had checked the kitchen area. Cutlery in particular were dirty and unclean.

"Very pleasant accommodation for a very good price."

The location was excellent, very close to Durham city centre, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Parking for one car was on the driveway at the front of the house.

The listing stated that there was a dishwasher, but there wasn't one. This didn't matter to us as there were only two of us and we only had breakfast at the property, but if the place had been booked for 5 people who were expecting this, they would have been disappointed. Kitchen facilities were good, but there was only 4 chairs for the dining table in the kitchen and only 1 breakfast/soup bowl, which again would not be good for a party of 5.
