Apartman PAOLA

The renovation of this apartment was exceptional - design, furnishing, hardware, and facilities. It was a wonderful surprise as the building exterior is a little grim. But the minute we stepped in, we just loved everything! And the location was excellent as well. Just a short walk to restaurants and the river.

Good for short stays. Great position. Quiet area, but close to the centre. Safe & quiet residential apartment building. Free parking. Decor looks modern & cosy. Comfy sofa. Netflix. Nice view. Cute balcony. Nice shower. Good quality appliances. Easy check in & check out.

The bed sheet had 5 different holes (one of which had been repaired) and was of very thin, low quality. The duvet covers were so worn out they were full of holes at the bottom. Dirty windows, dust on some surfaces & cobwebs, greasy kitchen surfaces, wobbly bar stool, lack of cooking utensils - there are only 2 pans for cooking (a tiny pot with a lid & a frying pan), a very tiny wooden chopping board which is splitting (probably due to other guests putting it in the dishwasher...). A lot of light bulbs were needing changed - so light was lacking in a few strategic places, i.e. above the mirror in the bathroom & above the sink in the kitchen. So, ok for very short stays, and if you don't need to cook. It has potential to be great, with a little more attention to the details, the cleaning and the maintenance. I would much prefer the host had spent their money on new bed linen for example, than on the snacks they leave for everyone as a welcome.

Perfect location. Clean and cozy apartment with beautiful view. 5 min walk from the restaurants and cafes.
