The Salt Flat - Salt Lake City

Right next to a homeless camp, windows didn't shut all the way so you could hear people on the street, check in was difficult and would have been impossible if I hadn't gotten ahold of staff, lots of cleaning supplies under all the cabinets would have been dangerous for kids, elevator didn't work and that should have been mentioned since we were on 3rd floor. Just didn't seem professional at all.

location is excellent

It's on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator - dragging heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs is not fun

I wish there was more info on parking.

The shower was broken so we couldn’t adjust the temperature.

Central location to good restaurants within easy walking distance. Comfortable beds.

Instructions for obtaining gate key fob could be better. There are several lock boxes all of which look the same or are similar. A picture or short video would be very helpful to demonstrate how to obtain the fob. The apartment itself was good with the exception of 2 items that need to be fixed: 1) the filter water dispenser in the kitchen is barely attached to the counter top and needs to be tightened, and 2) the tub faucet temp control knob is very loose making it difficult to change water temperature, it needs to be tightened or replaced. Also the apartment should be checked to verify it is stocked with some basics prior to guest arrival. There was no dishwasher soap and an almost empty bottle of laundry soap when we arrived.

I loved the space and design.

The parking situation, the fob didn't work and had to pay for parking.

loved the decor, comfort, area, community, and building.

the shower was hard to use but that’s really only a minor thing compared to all the great parts of the apartment.
