Everything was nice

Apartment was clean, bathroom was excellent

Fire and police station right outside very noisy even with windows shut. Fire alarm wouldnt go off due to another apartment setting it off. We had to contact the services department to make someone aware. Alarm panel bleeped all night

Beds were very comfortable. Loved having a separate bathroom in each of the bedrooms. The living area was cosy. Biscuits and tea there for our arrival and some ice in the freezer which came in handy after hours travelling in the heat! Some maintenance going on across the building but they were quiet and friendly and kept us well informed. Didn't cause any disruption to our stay whatsoever. Lovely area and would definitely recommend

Stayed at the Smithfield Apartments for business and had another great stay! The hosts were friendly, check in was easy and the apartment was spacious and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t need to this time but you can book more than one apartment if you have a party of people staying. The car park is really convenient meaning we didn’t have to worry about paying for parking. Hanley town centre is a just a few minutes walk so it’s also a really convenient location.

Property is in a prime location

We were asked if we wanted the bed set up in the living by room which I replied and was told this would be made up. When we arrived the bed was not made up and we couldn’t find any bedding and we had to sleep with two towels. On contacting the property were told the bedding was under the bed (even although we were told it would be already made up). We also informed them we had 2 towels for 4 adults and was advised more would be dropped off. No towels were dropped off. On looking for the bedding underneath the couch was covered in spider webs. Not a hygienic place to store bedding. The bedding bag was found under the bed not the couches. The freezer also had food in it. Making me wonder exactly what cleaning took place before we arrived.
