Booking photos of the room & of the inhouse facilities meet the reality!! The owners were so friendly and mainly helpful with whatever we needed. They have provided a pick up from the airport and a free taxi to our ferry and also a mosquito machine as soon as we have asked for it along with reccommendations on where to eat and which beaches to visit. Owners have also offered a box with bread, honey, yogurt etc for breaksfast during our 1st day. We have stayed in a split unit room with a stunning view of the harbour and Platy Yialos. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and our towels were changed on a daily basis; The location was absolutely perfect, just beneath the Castro with easy access to the bars, cafes, and restaurants of Chora. I will stay again once we visit Astypalaia again.

Firstly, Angelidis and his family were amazing - they waited at the ferry with a sign in order to give me a lift up - it was sincerely appreciated how sweet this gesture was. Secondly, the property is downright amazing. You will not get this sweeping view of waterline nor skyline without the elevation, it was perfection to have a patio that overlooked all of these. The accommodation itself was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated and exceptionally organized. It felt like a luxury suite! I appreciated having all the kitchenware to prepare my own meals and complimentary coffee to start my mornings. The water pressure with rainfall shower was also quite a relaxing experience. It is located on top of a steep hill near the castle, which worked out perfectly for early morning hikes to get the experience to yourself. I personally enjoyed the steep hikes but for anyone who may not find as comfortable, having transportation may help. Otherwise everything is walking distance within Chora, you also may not feel the need to explore after you've been at this property to relax with the gorgeous sunrises/sunsets. Angelidis also can provide tour recommendations, he was very thoughtful to advise not to take on a boat tour as the weather would be unpleasant.
