Outhouse Bothy

Super cute little hideaway, very conveniently located for all that Kirkby Lonsdale has to offer. Even after breaking his leg, my husband was able to get up to the bedroom on the amazing ancient stone staircase. He was ready for the local beer that was on the side by the time he got down again though, haha.

Probably not for those with mobility issues. It took me a while to find the picture of the steps when I was wondering if we would have to cancel. Perhaps I just missed the warning!

Central Location. Quirky, fun accommodation in the centre of KL, close to public car park, local facilities - including the KL Brewery, just over the road. Well designed and appointed - everything worked. Met our expectations and as described. Ideal for our overnight stay with small dog, but would also be happy to book for longer stay.

Nothing. But as others have commented, internal steep stone step hs might not be suitable for everyone.

Its in a beautiful location, cosy, well set out, good facilities and owners responsive. Balcony is a lovely addition.

The only thing I can say is the stairs but not an issue if you are fit and able

Outstandingly clean and well presented. Perfect for my travels with my Labradoodle! Everything I needed in the kitchen area and great shower. Comfortable bed and great decor throughout.

Nothing; it served my needs excellently. Parking can be tricky on arrival but that’s outside of the host’s control.

The bed is very hard, ceiling low, bed small and shelves were dust

Great little place, very quirky and space utilised well. We would definitely return another day.
