Haus Braunarl

Durch die Lage abseits der Hauptstraße war das Apartment angenehm ruhig, mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge, aber dennoch nur 5 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachmittags stand als kleiner Gruß aus der Küche immer ein köstlicher Kuchen im Eingangsbereich. Auch das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr hochwertig mit vielen regionalen Produkten. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Haus Braunarl is located in a nice and quiet road facing the Omesberg mountain and is just a short walk from the Center of Lech, but also provides easy access to the Winterwanderweg. The host, Anna-Katharina, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations such as where to find an excellent Apfelstrudel in Lech (Gasthof Post or Café Gotthard). Our apartment was very clean, with a small kitchenette, en-suite bathroom, double bed, sofa and a nice corner table. The house provides a cellar room for storing ski equipment as well as a well-maintained little sauna which provides a nice way to relax after a day of hiking/skiing. There is great attention to detail and a funny feature is that each apartment has a unique animal figure in front. Breakfast or Brötchenservice can be booked on arrival.

There are only two oven tops, so needs planning when trying to cook a meal requiring more than two pans/pots.

The family is absolutely lovely. Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is 5 min walk from the city centre and the main grocery shop. If you enjoy Austrian hospitality and a family feeling this is a great place.

The location of Haus Braunarl is excellent, nice view and walkable distance from restaurants, bus stand, supermarket. We liked the size of the room and the amenities provided. Anna was a great host and really helpful throughout our stay with suggestions for places to visit, restaurants and food to try and many more. We would really like to come back someday here again.
