Beach Hideaway

The location was excellent! Just across the road from the beach, with the pier à short walk away and Lytham town centre just ten minutes drive. It was also very clean and well appointed. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing place to spend a few days.

Very minor issues: we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the towel heater in the bathroom and we had trouble with the tv - some instructions would’ve been helpful! Also a heads up for future guests: the entrance is at the side of the house, just down an alley or ginnell which on a breezy day (and we had a lot of those!) turns into a bit of a wind-tunnel!

Comfortable, like being at home, beautifully decorated as a seaside property should be ,comfortable bed, dog friendly a little gem of a place.

Shower a bit dodgy. Overheated a lot. Meaning taking a shower was always straight forward. But owner was helpful and told us how to reset.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, pier and shops. The apartment was light and bright and very quiet.

Unfortunately our visit was hindered by the broken sofa bed, meaning my son had an uncomfortable night’s sleep on the sofa. The main double bed was also uncomfortable with a poor quality, firm mattress and polyester bedding. The apartment had not been cleaned properly before we arrived with remnants of food from previous guests on the floor, and sand on the rugs and sofa. The toilet seat was also broken. Sadly on reporting the broken sofa bed and uncleanliness, the owner was not very understanding, has failed to take any responsibility and has not offered any compensation.
