Location was good. Booked for 3 nights but only in lovely comfy bed for 2 nights. We were told there was a plumbing problem so stayed in Pebbles next door but one on the first night and the bed was really uncomfortable. I suspect that there had been an overbooking as the glasses were still wet and obviously just washed on entering Wynnstay Studio Apartment.

The worst part by far is the hot water. There is an emersion heater type situation I've never come across before. Told to turn on 10 mins before for hot water. Did this, got in shower, freezing after 2 mins. Got out wet and cold and sat for another 15 mins waiting for it to heat up, and again freezing cold after a few mins. Had to rinse soap and shampoo off in cold water! Then to make matters even worse, there was no hairdryer! This was so stressful as we only had an hour to get ready as meeting friends. 10 mins wait, then a 15 min wait and then no hairdryer! Resorted to standing under the heater in the bathroom on a really hot day to dry my hair whilst in a rush already due to water heating situation. Also, had to stay in alternative accommodation on the first night with really uncomfortable bed and no fan. Had to request a fan for the following 2 nights in the studio apartments as there was no fan here either. I suspect that there had been an overbooking although we were told there was a plumbing problem. Lastly, no teaspoons and only one table spoon for 2 of us! Not sure what else may have been missing from this studio apartment as we only made a brew. Did message host about this on leaving so she was aware, but reveived no reply. UPDATE: Laura has since been in touch and offered a £50 refund which was a nice gesture. She also assured me that the hot water situation is being looked into by the owner so should no longer be a problem.

I did not stay at wynnstay there was a double booking so kindly I stayed at pebbles apartments a few doors down. We was not disappointed as the king-size room was comfy and everything thought of down to water and mints. Very clean and the breakfast was superb and freshly cooked with cereal and yogurt and fresh fruit. I have paid a lot more for less so we will definitely stay again and highly recommended.

Shower was a bit week but I'm used to a power shower at home so no complaints
