The apartament is well equiped, you have everything you need.

It could have been a little bit cleaner.

Good location and quite spacious. The host fixed an issue with the gas hob straight away. It was nice to be able to watch some movies on Netflix.

We found it to be rather dark, but maybe that is to be expected with a ground floor apartment. It was not as clean as we’d have liked. There was also a problem with a dog at one of the neighbouring properties that barked a lot.

Beautiful apartment and a very accomodating host. We chose to stay in the traditional Japanese bedroom which was more than spacious and very comfortable. Amazing to have a whole apartment for a very good price so close to the city center of Ishigaki.

Kind and considerate host. Spacious tatami room. Not too far away from ferry terminal.

Had some mosquitoes and you can hear the dog across the street bark.

Nice 2-bedroom, we could use a futon to have a 3rd area in the living room. Kitchen is small but functional

Note that the house is a 20mn walk from public transport, and it's quite hard to indicate a location to a taxi if you don't speak Japanese

Charming apartment with more flair & size than your typical little apartment in a tower block. Hospitality & little touches by host much appreciated eg: drinks, eggs & noodles. Directions & communication by host prior to arrival excellent. Great to have washing liquid & other condiments supplied for washing machine & cooking instead of buying & wasting. Nice little neighbourhood. Can hear kids laughing & dog barking but all quiet by bedtime. Great if you have a car but perhaps a little far from port/bus terminal if walking with luggage (about 20 minutes) especially if hot or raining. Otherwise excellent stay
